Declaration on the protection of personal data

The protection of your personal information is important to us. At DART s.r.o., with its registered office in V Olšinách 2300/75, Strašnice, 100 00 Praha 10, ID no.: 45809470, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 12367 (hereinafter DART), we undertake to protect the personal data.

On this website, you’ll find information about why, when, how, and what DART personal data is processing. You will also find a way to contact us if you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data or how to correct your personal information.

We may change the Privacy Statement in some circumstances and update it. We therefore encourage you to visit this website for yourself and make sure you always have up-to-date information about its content.

We undertake to take all measures to prevent the misuse of personal information you provide to us. We will process your personal data only in the case of the existence of a legal title for the processing of personal data.

Basic terms and information

The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Regulation protection of personal data), hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”.

Why does DART process personal data?

DART is the organizer of fair events. Certain personal information is necessary for the purpose of creating an order / application for a particular event, or for the purpose of sending news about the events organized by us. We do not need to disclose other personal information to you, it is strictly necessary for the provision of your services. But if you decide to tell us, we can do more for you.

Sharing personal information

We do not share your personal information with any other person. In some cases, we need to share your personal information with government agencies. We pass on your personal information to these folders on the basis of a statutory duty, if stored.

Time of processing of personal data

The latest processing time for personal data

The most recent processing of personal data we apply to DART is 10 years from the date when the legal relationship between the data subject and the DART was terminated, or 10 years after the end of the taxable period in which the transaction occurred. The stated processing time follows from Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended, or from Act No. 235/2004 Coll., on Value Added Tax, as amended. The reason for such processing is the legal duty or legitimate interest of DART. After this time, all your personal information will be deleted.

Other time of processing of personal data

If you contact us with inquiries or in case of normal communication with us, we will delete your personal information much earlier than in the above mentioned deadlines. We will keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes of our Privacy Policy, or to comply with statutory obligations.

Cookies and other tracking technologies

During a visit to the fair events website, you automatically get one (or more) cookies on your computer, which are primarily used to enhance your comfort and optimize our services.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that contain a negligible amount of information (letters and numbers) that are stored on your device when you visit a specific website. They are especially useful because they allow websites to recognize a Web browser or device that the user is using.

How does DART use a cookie?

The cookies are set by us, or by third parties (entities with which we have a contract) on the events’ website. So-called relational and permanent files are used. Relative are cookies that are permanently deleted after the end of the session. Permanent cookies, on the other hand, are stored on your computer until they expire (maximum 2 years) or are not removed from your computer. The files allow our magazine to recognize your repeated visit.

Enforcement of data subjects’ rights

Right to information

We respect the principle of transparency of the processing of personal data. In line with this principle, we are committed to providing data subjects with information about the processing of their personal data. If you would like to know what personal data we generally process about you, you can request it by sending an e-mail to info@dart-expo.cz.
To find out what specific personal data we are processing about you, you can contact us here, but also specify which specific information you require. For a list of the information you are entitled to, see GDPR Articles 13 and 14. If you do not disclose to us your specific requirements, we will, at your request, be regarded as general under the previous paragraph. Please note that if we are not able to verify your identity electronically or if you have reasonable doubts about your identity, we ask you to submit your ID at the DART office. We only exclude that we will not provide your personal information to a person who is solely responsible for you.

We will process your requests in the shortest possible time. Depending on the complexity and extent of the request, it may take several weeks for it to be settled.

Right to rectification

If you find that some of the personal data we process about you are incorrect or outdated, please notify us by sending an e-mail to info@dart-expo.cz. Even in this case, we will ask you to provide an ID at the DART headquarters. This is the only way to ensure that your personal information is not tampered with.

Withdrawal of consent to personal data processing and right to be forgotten

Further processing of your personal data, which is carried out on the basis of consent to the processing of personal data, can be avoided at any time. You have to withdraw consent to such processing.
You can also use your right to be forgotten. In this case, we will delete all your personal data we process. Exceptions are cases where processing takes place from a statutory duty or due to our legitimate interest. In this case, we also require the identification of the data subject rather than the deletion of personal data.
